Audio tools

Cleaning and test tones are generated in your browser using the Web Audio API. We do not request microphone access, record your surroundings, collect recordings or ask you to upload audio. Playback settings are held in page memory and reset on reload.

Optional voice sample

The voice sample uses your browser's speech synthesis service. We prefer an available local English voice. If no suitable local voice exists, the browser may use another system voice, which can require a network connection under your browser or operating system provider's policies. The fixed sample text contains no user-supplied information.

Hosting and request data

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like other hosting providers, Cloudflare processes request information such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser information to deliver content and operate security services. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its practices.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

This release does not intentionally set application cookies or load advertising or third-party marketing scripts. Cloudflare may process security-related information as part of hosting. If analytics or additional services are enabled later, this notice must be updated to describe the deployment accurately.

Your choices

You can use the written guides without enabling JavaScript and can choose not to play audio or the voice sample. Browser controls let you manage site data and audio permissions. We do not maintain user accounts or an application database of personal profiles.
